Old Reading Beer Plastic Plate Sign

Here is a Esquire Premium Beer Sign from the Jones Brewing Company located in Smithton, PA.  This Esquire Premium Beer Sign is from the 1950’s era and is in excellent condition considering how old it is. This sign was made by Advertising Products Inc. located in Cincinnati, OH.  It’s made of a piece of curved reverse-painted glass mounted in a back-lit metal body.  Signs like these were used as sconce lights and bar back displays in taverns and distributors to advertise Jones Brewery products.

Here is a Ballantine Ale & Beer Sign from the Ballantine Brewing Company located in Newark, NJ. This Ballantine Ale & Beer Sign is from the 1950s era and is in excellent condition considering how old it is. This Ballantine Sign was made by the Ohio Advertising Display Company located in Cincinnati, OH; this style of sign is known as a “Fireball Streamliner”  sign model. It is approximately 24″ wide and is made of a reverse-painted glass face mounted in a backlit metal body.
