Here is a Henry Wagener Brewery Lager Beer Sign from the Henry Wagener Brewing Company located in Salt Lake City, UT. This H. Wagener Beer Sign is pre-prohibition era, is approximately from between 1897 – 1915 and is in fair condition for it’s age. It is approximately 18″ X 30″ and is made of thin metal with embossed lettering.
When I got this sign it was repainted but you can still see the embossed letters raised on the metal. It has also been mounted to a piece of plywood as well. This sign would be a candidate for full restoration and repainting, I imagine the sign would have originally been a dark graphite gray or black with gold leaf lettering.
