Here is a Columbia Beer Lighted Sign from the Columbia Brewing Company located in Shenandoah, PA. This Beer Sign is from the 1950s era and is in excellent condition considering how old it is.
This sign was made by the Raycon Manufacturing Company located in Erie, PA; while the style of sign is known as a “Fluraflex Display”. It is made of a reverse-painted glass graphic panel mounted in an aluminum back-lit body. The graphics on this sign depict brewery’s crest and initials as well as the text “Columbia 5-Star Beer”. Signs like this one would have been displayed as a bar back display to advertise Columbia products to patrons.
