Mount Carbon Bock Beer Sign
Here is a Mount Carbon Bock Beer Sign from the Mount Carbon Brewing Company located in Pottsville, PA. This MC Dopple-Brau Bock Beer Litho is from the 1940’s era and is in good condition for its age. It is approximately 24″ X 36″ with metal hanging edges for display.
The main graphic on this lithograph is of a goat which is a the sign for bock beer. There is some light watermarks / stains on the top right corner and some small edge chips in the paper. The litho has been custom framed with pine molding and plexiglass; it can be hung as-is or reframed.
Presidential Rye Whiskey Clock
Here is a Presidential Rye Whiskey Clock from the E. De. Lue & Company Distillery located in Chicago, IL. This pre-prohibition era Rye Whiskey Clock is from between 1896 to 1918 and is in excellent condition considering how old it is. This clock is easily over 100 years old and is't amazing that it still operates and keeps accurate time too.
It's approximately 12" by 10" by 5" and is made of cast iron with a winding mechanical clock at the top. The cast text on the clock body reads "Presidential Pure Rye Malt" across the top and "The Best Medicinal Whiskey In America" across the bottom with the "E. De. Lue & Co. Chicago Sole Prop's" across the base. A Cast Iron Clock like this would have originally been displayed on a back bar display or general store countertop to advertise Presidential Medicinal Whiskey to patrons.

Kaier’s Beer Matchstick Holder
Here is a Kaier Beer Match Holder from the Chas. D. Kaier Company Ltd. (also known as the Chas. D. Kaier Brewing Company) located in Mahanoy City, PA. This Kaier Beer Match Holder is pre-1920s era and is in very good condition considering how old it is.
This match holder was made by the H.D. Beach Company located in Coshocton, OH. Promotional products like these would have been given to patrons and brewery employees to display at home on the wall near their fireplace and were an advertising piece for Kaier Beer, Ale, and Porter.

Esslingers Premium Beer Sign
Here is a Esslingers Premium Beer Sign from the Esslinger Brewery Inc. located in Philadelphia, PA. This Esslingers Premium Beer Sign is from the 1940’s era and is in excellent condition for it’s age.
The graphics on this Esslinger Beer Sign is of the Esslinger’s logo and the brewery’s mascot “King Pin (aka Little Man)”. The typography on the sign reads “Philadelphia’s Only Premium Beer” which was a tagline that the brewery used in it’s marketing plan predominantly in the early 1940’s era.
This Esslinger’s Beer Sign is approximately 4″ X 6″ and is made of foil over composite material and would have had a string hanger and metal easel on the back for display.

Coopers Old Bohemian Beer Sign
Here is a Coopers Old Bohemian Beer Sign from the Cooper Brewing Company located in Philadelphia, PA. This Coopers Old Bohemian Beer Sign is from the 1930s / 1940s era and is in excellent condition considering how old it is.
The sign was made by the Gillco Glass Sign Company located in Philadelphia, PA. It is made of a curved piece of reverse-painted glass with a chain hanger.
Horlacher’s Aged Brews Sign
Here is a Horlacher’s Aged Brews Sign from the Horlacher Brewing Company located in Allentown, PA. This Horlacher’s Aged Brews Sign is from the early 1930’s era and is in very good condition for it’s age.
This sign is about the size of a license plate coming in at approximately 10″ wide and is made of screen printed paint over brass. The “Aged Brews” beer style that is advertised suggests that is was produced shortly after the end of prohibition in 1933, probably between 1933 and 1934 would be my guess.

Here is an Old Dutch Beer Sign from the Eagle Brewing Company located in Catasauqua, PA. This Old Dutch Beer Sign is from the 1940s era and is in excellent condition considering how old it is.
It is approximately 6″ X 9″ and is made of celluloid wrapped over tin over cardboard with an easel back and string hanger. Signs like these would have been displayed on the wall or on the back bar to advertise Old Dutch Premium Beer to patrons.
Gibbons Beer Bottle TOC Sign
Here is a Gibbons Beer Bottle Tin Sign from The Lion Inc. Brewing Company located in Wilkes-Barre, PA. This Gibbons Beer Bottle Tin Sign is from the 1940’s era and is in excellent condition for its age. The tagline at the bottom that reads “Enjoyed Everywhere” was used by the brewery for a very short time and wasn’t printed on that many advertisement items. The Gibbons beer bottle graphic on the sign is a returnable “steinie” bottle that was used by the brewery from the 1940’s to the 1960’s.
This Gibbons beer sign is considered a TOC (Tin-Over-Cardboard) and was made by the Novelty Advertising Company located in Coshocton, OH.
Pennsylvania Dutch Beer Sign
Here is a Pennsylvania Dutch Beer Sign from the Lebanon Valley Brewing Company located in Lebanon, PA. This PA Dutch Beer Sign is from the 1940’s era and is in excellent condition for its age.
This Pennsylvania Dutch Beer Sign was made by the Scioto Sign Company located in Kenton, OH. It is approximately 15″ wide and is made of embossed tin with a string hanger. Signs like these were meant to hang on the wall throughout taverns and distributors to advertise Lebanon Valley Old German Beer. Pennsylvania Dutch Old German Beer was one of the flagship beers produced by the Lebanon Valley brewery from 1933 up until when the brewery closed in 1959.
Columbia Brewing Glass Sign
Here is a Columbia Brewing Glass Sign from the Columbia Brewing Company located in Shenandoah, PA. This pre-prohibition era Columbia Brewing Glass Sign is from between 1894 and 1900 era and is unfortunately in very poor condition although still somewhat displayable.
This Columbia Brewing Glass Sign was made by the Tuchfarber Company located in Cincinnati, OH. The sign is approximately 30″ wide, is a glass lithograph, and is made or reverse-painted glass mounted in a wooden frame.
The graphics on this sign (although very hard to make out) is a patriotic scene of a woman holding an American flag and leaning on a stars and stripes shield, and there looks to be an American Blad Eagle crouched to the right of the shield. The lettering on this sign reads “Columbia Brewing Company” along the top and “Shenandoah, PA” across the bottom. There looks to be remnants of lettering on the left side of the sign, most likely a beer style, similar to the “Weiss Beer” lettering to the right. There is a maker mark on the bottom right corner that reads “Tuchfarber Company – Cinci, OH”

Here is a National Beer Lighted Sign from the National Brewing Company located in Baltimore, MD. This National Beer Lighted Sign is from the 1950’s era and is in very good condition for it’s age.
This sign is approximately 30″ wide and made of reverse-painted glass mounted in a back-lit metal body. The lettering on this sign reads “National Beer” and “Quality so good you can taste it!”. Sign like these would have been display as a bar back display or hung in tavern windows to advertise National Beer and National Bohemian Beer (Natty Boh) to patrons.
