Here is a National Bohemian Beer Lighted Sign from the National Brewing Company located in Baltimore, PA. This National Bohemian Beer Sign is from the 1940’s era and is in excellent condition for it’s age.
This sign was made by the Ohio Advertising Display Company located in Lima, OH. It is made of a reverse-painted glass mounted in an art-deco stylized body. The graphics on this Natty Boh sign is of the brewery’s mascot “Mr. Boh” eyeing the tagline “Oh boy, what a beer”. Mr. Boh and that tagline was used in a variety of advertising at the time.
There is another variation of this National Bohemian Beer Lighted Sign with similar graphics and color. That variation had a different looking Mr. Boh graphic and a tagline that reads “National Bohemian On Draught”; click here to view the other variation.
