Here is a Ritter Manufacturing Tip Tray from the Ritter Manufacturing Company located in Philadelphia, PA. This Ritter Manufacturing Tip Tray was made around 1916 and is in excellent condition considering how old it is.
The graphics on this tray depict a red rose flower with the artwork title “Poor Richard” below the rose; while the typography along the rim reads “Art Metal Signs – Lithographed Tin Boxes”. There is also some typography above the rose with reads “12th Annual Convention of A.A.C. of W. Phila. June 25 to 30 1916” which is an abbreviation of the “Associated Advertising Clubs of the World, Philadelphia”. This clip would have probably been used by Ritter Salesman as a “salesman sample” or promotional convention “hand-out” for potential clients or customers.
