Here is a Old Reading Pilsner Sign from the Old Reading Brewing Company located in Reading, PA. This Old Reading Pilsner Sign is from the 1930’s era and is in fair condition for it’s age.
This sign was produced by the Permanent Sign and Display Company located in Reading, PA. It is approximately 20″ wide and made of tin wrapped over a cardboard backer. Signs like these would have been displayed on the walls of taverns to advertise Old Reading Beer to patrons.
There are actually 2 other variations of this sign all with similar graphics except using the words “Cream Ale” and “Beer”; click here to view the Cream Ale variation. I am actively looking for the other variations to add to my collection as well as potentially upgrading this Pilsner sign to a cleaner example; please contact me if you have any of them for sale.
