Here is a directional No Spiking Scalloped Sign from the 1930s / 1940s era and is in excellent condition for its age.  This No Spiking Scalloped Glass Sign is made of scalloped reverse-painted glass and mounted to a metal backer with eyelets for display. Scalloped Edge Glass Signs like this one were very popular during the time and featured various advertising and directional usages.

A sign like this would have originally been displayed during events, parties, and gathers to deter guests from “Spiking” non-alcoholic beverages like punches, juice, or soda pop with hard alcohol or other drugs. During the time, if a person was caught “Spiking” non-alcoholic beverages it could land them in jail.
