Here is a Muhlenberg Brewery Keg Head from the Muhlenberg Brewing Company located in Reading, PA. This Muhlenberg Brewery Keg Head is from between 1895 to 1920 and is in very good condition considering how old it is. This keg head is off of an old beer barrel keg and from the size of it I believe it is off a 1/6 keg also known as a small “picnic keg”. These Picnic Kegs were primarily used for brewery functions and outings to distribute Muhlenberg Beer to brewery employees.
