Here is a John Roehm Brewery Clock from the John Roehm Brewing Company located in Philadelphia, PA. This pre-prohibition J. Roehm’s Brewery Clock is from between 1888 to 1897 and is in very good condition for it’s age. The John Rohm Brewery eventually became the Otto Erlanger Brewery in the early 1930’s era.
This brewery clock was made by the Waterbury Clock Company located in Waterbury, CT. It is made up of a Waterbury spring-driven movement mounted in a cast bronze rim decorated with an ornate design incorporating a fox and a hound. From my understanding and research this J. Rohm Clock was displayed in either the brewery or in a tavern / hotel owned by the brewery at the time.
