Here is a High Life Miller Beer Sign from the Miller Brewing Company located in Milwaukee, WI. This High Life Miller Beer Sign is from the mid-1940’s era and is in excellent condition for its age.
This sign was made by the Kirby-Coggeshall-Steinau Co. located in Milwaukee, WI. It is approximately 14″ wide and is made of layers of wood pulp pressed together with a graphic veneer applied to the front. This design and style Kirby-Coggeshall-Steinau sign was very popular during the metal shortages of World War II as it was made primarily of wood particleboard.
There are actually 3 other variations of this sign, all about the same size just with different lettering and graphics. Other competiting breweries produced similar advertising signs like these by brewers like Anheuser-Busch, Budweiser, Pabst, and Piels just to name a few.
