Here is a Ford Parts Porcelain Sign from the Ford Motor Company located in Detroit, MI. This double-sided Genuine Ford Parts Porcelain Sign is from the 1920’s era and is in excellent condition for it’s age.
It is made of porcelain enamel over steel and was made by the Samuel Stamping and Enameling Company located in Chattanooga, TN. It is approximately 24″ wide and has a makers mark and owners marked “Property of Ford Motor Co.” at the top and “Samuel Signs – Chattanooga” at the bottom. Signs like this one would have originally hung from an iron bracket at the service station or dealership.
