Here is an Excelsior Ice Cream Sign from the Excelsior Dairy and Creamery Company located in Santa Ana, CA. This Excelsior Ice Cream Sign is from the 1940s era and is in excellent condition considering how old it is.
The sign is approximately 9″ wide and was made by the Bastian Brothers Company located in Rochester, NY. This style of Bastian Bros Co. sign is known as a “Prismatic Sign”. Signs like this one would have been displayed inside of a general stores and malt (ice cream) shops. This NOS (New-Old Stock) sign was originally found as part of a salesman kit from Bastian Brothers Company.
