Here is a Esslingers Beer Clock from the Esslinger Brewing Company located in Philadelphia, PA. This Esslingers Beer Clock is from the 1940’s era and is in excellent condition for it’s age. This clock was made to advertise to patrons that the establishment served Esslinger Beer In Bottles. The graphics of the little men at 12 o’clock, 3 o’clock, 6 o’clock, and 9 o’clock is the Esslinger Brewery’s mascot known as “Kingpin”.
It is made of a etched and painted milkglass, a manual operating electric movement, and a gray wrinkle-painted metal body. The clock itself was mad by the Central Fixture Company located in Philadelphia, PA; The Central Fixture Co. was a sister company to the Gillco Glass Sign Company also located in Philadelphia, PA.
