Here is a Deppen Queen Quality Sign from the Deppen Brewing Company located in Reading, PA.  This Deppen Brewery Beer Sign is from the 1930s era and is in fair condition considering how old it is.

This sign was made by the Permanent Sign & Display Company located in Reading, PA; it measures approximately 13″ by 9″ and is made of lithographed printed tin wrapped over a cardboard backer.  Signs like these would have been displayed inside of a tavern or distributor to advertise Deppen Queen Quality Beer and other Brewery products to patrons. The stag / deer graphic in the upper left corner was one of the trademarks that the Deppen Brewing Company used in a lot of their advertising efforts during the time. The advertising across the bottom of the sign reads “The Beer That Made Reading Famous” was marketed towards patrons local to Reading, PA.

There is also another variation of this Deppen Brewery sign with very similar graphics and text except the lettering is embossed and the front of the sign is wrapped in a clear celluloid.  I am actively looking for the other variation of this sign for my personal collection, as well as a cleaner example of this one too; please contact me if you have either of them and are interested in selling.
