Here is a Catasauqua Fine Beer Sign from the Eagle Brewing Company located in Catasauqua, PA. This Beer Sign is from the 1930’s era and is in excellent condition considering how old it is.
This sign was made by Brown & Bigelow located in St. Paul, MN. It is approximately 10″ by 5″ and is made of tin wrapped over a cardboard backer with a fold-out easel stand for display. The sign is made of embossed metal wrapped around a cardboard backer.
The advertising on the sign reads “Pennsylvanias Best Catasauqua Fine Beer” and the brewery name “Eagle Brewery” across the center with the brewery’s Eagle insignia. Signs like this one would have been displayed on the walls or bar back of a tavern to advertise Eagle products to patrons.
