Here is a Burdick Metal Trade Card from the Burdick & Son located in Albany, NY. This Burdick Trade Card is from the early 1900s era and is in very good condition considering how old it is. It’s approximately 5.5″ by 3.25″ and is made of lithography over metal.
The graphic and typography depict the original manufacturing factory building and office and a yellow box to the right with what Burdick & Son’s capabilities and specialties were. This Burdick Metal Trade Card would have probably been used by a Burdick Salesman as a “salesman sample” or promotional “leave-behind” for potential clients and customers. The Burdick & Son Company also had family and business ties with The Burdick Enamel Sign Company located in Chicago, IL who also produced Burdick Signs.
