The Radiart Corporation was established in the 1940s and was located in Cleveland, OH; they also had offices in New York City and Montreal, Canada. Radiart Corporation produced radio tubes and antennas for the radio and automotive industries as well as neon countertop displays, lighted motion signs, and neon menu boards for the bar and restaurant industry.
They produced advertising neon lighted signs for various clients and industries across the country including for breweries like Hamms, Glueks, Narragansett, Berghoff, Buckeye, and Schmidt just to name a few.
However, there were a few competitors to Radiart that were producing similar “edge-lit neon” advertising signs by sign companies like Lackner Sign Company located in Cincinnati, OH, and Neon Products Inc. located in Lima, OH.
It’s unknown when they eventually closed. A portion of the original manufacturing and headquarters building is still standing to this day; click here to check it out.
