The Photoplating Company was established in the 1930’s era located in Minneapolis, MN. The Photoplating Co. specialized in creating full-color reverse-painted glass with a colored glass rod accent bar at the top and bottom and backlit advertising signs mounted in wooden frames for various companies and industries. Signs like these were produced as a bar back and countertop advertising displays.
The Photo plating Company produced countertop and bar back advertising lighted signs for various industries and companies across the country including Radio Manufacturers, Gas / Oil Companies, Soda, Bottling Companies, Dairies, Ice Cream Makers, Breweries, and Distilleries just to name a few. Two of thir larger clients included Moxie Soda Company and The Coca Cola Company too.
Photoplating produced signs for various breweries across the country including Lebanon Valley, Barbey’s Inc, Sunshine, Bartels, Miller, Glueks, Renner, Gettelman, Lucky Lager, American, Leinenkugel, Labatt’s, and Grain Belt just to name a few.
