The Parker Metal Decoration Company was established by Edwin Augusts Parker in 1921 located in Baltimore, MD. Parker Metal Decoration Company produced metal lithography including various metal advertising signs and trays. They also had manufacturing plants and offices in major cities like New York, Cleveland, Chicago, and Toronto.
They produced advertising signs and trays for such clients like Lime Cola, NationalBrewing Company, Gunther Brewing Company, Speedway Motor Oil, Quaker State Oil, Nichol Kola, Yuengling’s Ice Cream, and Frostie Rootbeer just to name a few. They also had competition from another sign and tray manufacturing company by the name of Electro-Chemical Engraving Company located in New York City, NY.
Parker Metal Dec. Co. ceased operations and closed in 1994. The original building is still standing to this day and is used as an office and event space; click here to view the building. In 2000, the building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
