The Federal Neon Clock Company was established in 1940 and was located in Philadelphia, PA. The Federal Neon Clock Company produced art deco electric clocks with neon accents. The neon clocks that they produced were branded “FederaLite” clocks.
In 1942, they established a second branch location in Texas to extend their reach and compete with other neon clock and sign manufacturing companies. Some of their competitors were companies like Electric Neon Clock Company located in Cleveland, OH, and Neon Products Inc. located in Lima, OH.
In 1952, they ceased operations and closed for good. The original Philadelphia headquarters office building is still standing to this day; click here to view the building.
