The Buckalew Sign Sales was established between the 1930’s era located in Allentown, PA. Buckalew Sign Sales produced outdoor lighted advertising glass signs. Their sign were made of back lit, double sided, thick reverse-painted glass panels mounted in a corrugated metal body often with neon outlines on the edge.

They did have national competition that produced similar advertising signs like Flexlume Sign Corporation located in Buffalo, NY and Artkraft located in New York, NY.

Their customers were primarily from the brewing industry serving breweries like Seitz, Kaiers, Hanley, Narragansett, and Piels just to name a few.
