Here is an Old Dutch Beer Sign from the Eagle Brewing Company located in Catasauqua, PA. This Beer Sign is from the 1930’s era and is in excellent condition considering how old it is.
The sign is made of embossed metal wrapped around a cardboard backer with a fold-out easel. The advertising on the sign reads “Pennsylvanias Best Old Dutch Beer Extra Fine” and the brewery name “Eagle Brewing Co. Catasauqua, PA” across the bottom with the brewery’s Eagle insignia on the top left corner. Signs like this one would have been displayed on the walls or bar back of a tavern to advertise Eagle products to patrons.
