Neuweiler Bottled Beer Sign
Here is a Neuweiler Bottled Beer Sign from the Neuweiler Brewing Company located in Allentown, PA. This Neuweiler Bottled Beer Sign is from the 1940s era and is in excellent condition considering how old it is.
The large sign is approximately 36″ by 18″ and is made of thick cardboard. Signs like this one would have been displayed inside of a tavern, hotel, or beer distributor to advertising Neuweiler products to patrons; it could have also been displayed inside of a bus.
The graphics on this screen-printed cardboard sign depict Beer Bottles being opened in a line with the typography that reads “Nix-Besser”, “Bottle After Bottle”, and “Beer Great Today-and Tomorrow Too!”. The phrase “Nix Besser” in German which translates to “None Better” and was commonly used by the Neuweiler brewery’s advertising efforts and as well as a tagline.
Update: This sign has been professionally framed with black molding; updated pictures coming soon.
